Hi i have a problem with computer if anybody could help would be great?

hi i recently opened a bad email and when i removed it with spybot it took my accessories group start menu with it and all program files for media player and other stuff. i have spent hours trying to get software to restore it. back to it original state before virus. i have tryed system restore/ anti virus software/ retore software pandora/ windows xp repair pro trial verion/ acc restore/ if i go into control panel/ folders it has a big black tick on it is that right not sure. i dont know what to do next can someone help if you know anything i can try. help would be great please.

No you will not loose all your songs if you re-download, i suggest to try that. Search iTunes Music in windows explorer and open the folder on your computer and copy and past all the files into another folder to make sure you won't loose your songs. Problem with my computer's time settings?

I had to PC restore my computer (wipe it back to factory-fresh setting) because of a bad rootkit/virus problem about a week ago. My comp is working fine now, but the time is skewered, it says it's 6 AM when it's really 7, etc. I think it's a daylight savings/standard time problem the computer isn't catching, but whenever I change the time back it doesn't save. In my experience, if you dont mind reinstalling, just do it. Those errors sound nasty and if safe mode is buggy, then its just easier. Viruses happen and sometimes reinstalling is the only way to show them who is boss. Good luck!

Computer virus called W32/Blaster.worm?

My dell desktop comp says it has a malicious virus. It's called the W32/Blaster.worm! Malware Protection shows up on screen saying to purchase this protection and it will clear it up. I can't log onto anything. It will not let me restore, add or remove programs or software. It's blocking my computer from me doing anything to try to resolve this issue. HELP! Can I install one of my dell cd Ito fix this issue? I'm afraid to purchase the Malware Protection because I'm unsure if it's the nice guy or part of the virus trying to get credit card info from me. What can I do besides taking it into a repair shop. I have the cd's to restore back to new but it won't allow me to remove any programs or allow me to do anything at this point. Please if you have any suggestions I'm willing to try anything. I tried some of the removal advices such as RUN (shutdown -a) it won't even allow it to open! F8 doesn't work! To make a new account with Administrative privledges....reboot the computer.....when you see the black screen...tap f8 repeatedly till you see a black screen with white lettering....select with your keyboard arrows Safe Mode....then hit enter....the administrators screen should appear..click on and enter...no password is required...the go to start > control panel > users accounts...and click on make new account........from there you can make a new account with admin rights and password protect it....once done...log off....follow the intructions above and log in Normal Mode instead of Safe Mode....once done...you will see the new account appear and just log in...........from there you can make the changes from your account...by assigning a new password...etc.

A Problem With My iPod Touch?

Today I turned on my iPod Touch and the "Connect to iTunes" Logo on it. I tried to connect to it with my iTunes on my computer, but since I had a pass-code lock on my iPod it asked me to unlock it through my iPod. I need help! My laptop log in disappeared leaving nothing but wallpaper?

I have a big problem! When I turn on my Dell Inspiron, it loads and everything and when it gets to the part where you click your user profile and log in, nothing is their. Like My profile isn't their its just completely blank. But the background is still their its like blue and green or something. The cursor moves but no buttons worked. Ipod classic restore not working?

So about a week ago my main ipod, a 160 gb ipod classic has been having tons of issues, i don't know if they are related in anyway. First the center button became stuck under the click wheel. Then the ipod was needed to be restored. I did it and that barely solved anything, needing to restore it again after a couple of days. We leave in one car and asks why I kissed his friend. That never happened so I told him I talked and danced and nothing else. So I've been playing the Sims 2 for years! I've been having this problem ever since I got the game, but would always shrug my shoulders and restart everything. But now I want it to stop! Ok, after taking the Sims 2 games off my computer and loading them back on. I would go to create my own neighborhood and my own people and have a great start for quite a few months. Now I have the Sims people without aging so I can have fun with them longer. But after awhile (and I mean almost a year), I'll load the game up and my neighborhood and people disappear! I had no computer problems or fail loadings with this game to make it do this. Now I went to many different help sites and I got many answers. One that was quite popular, but didn't work was to right click neighborhood file on the Sims 2 file and restore. Or reloading the game, or copy and uninstall your game, load it and paste it in. But keep in mind that since this was create, it won't come back by doing this. So what do I do?

There has to be something I can do, no matter how bad my chances may seem, to get these off my record. I was looking at 20-35 years in prison and by the grace of God alone, I only served county time. There has to be something that california law, some exemption, some loophole or special circumstance? Joining the Army Reserve perhaps? Really I am open to all suggestions. OS won't boot (deleting directx the cause)?

I have a three year old Dell Inspiron 1525 running Vista. I was having trouble with directx trying to play a game and accidentally deleted (now knowing that was extremely stupid). It takes 7-10 mins to load after that you just see the mouse then it just reboots. I do not have any system restores and want to recover my files before trying to wipe and reinstall the whole OS. I already tried to repair the system using the OS disc but it didn't seem to work. Macbook Pro and Iphone Dilema?

Ok so I have the iphone 3GS, at the time I was running on the Original operating system that it was sold with, I eventually found a app I wanted called Ocarina, that needed the newest version software update. I have had no prior updating experience whatsoever, I clicked update, and it told me I need to back up my information, so I went to the sync button on transferred all of my content onto my computer, then additionally it told me again that I needed to transfer the content over again which I did, then to be sure I clicked the sync button again and nothing happened, just to make sure all of my content, phone number, music, apps, all transferred over to the computer. As I clicked update It began to update and said it was going to back my files up by transferring my files from my Iphone to the computer. After the update finished I installed the game, there were many problems with the update, for example, the speaker would not work for any of my music nor pandora, the volume indicator told me there was no volume input, also my phone was popping a message that said unsupported device even though I had not device plugged in, the phone would not operate efficiently, after finally getting tired of all my function spazzing I decided to restore to the default setting because the problem kept on persisting. I again backed up my files and restored my setting to my computer. When I went back to sync my setting back to my phone, most of my information was gone, all that was left was my apps that I payed for. All of my paid music and contacts have vanished. I am not understanding why It told me to backup the files, as I did, and come back and the files were not even saved. I spent an hour or so just waiting for the transfer to finish. I am a little frustrated I had some important information on some of the files that I needed and my computer told me it was there so it seemed. I would love some information on some fellow owners of people who may know about this or whom have experienced this.

OK so i have had an ipod touch for a while and last year i jailbroke it. It went into safety mode, and i panicked and instead of just restoring it, i updated it, thus making it impossible to jailbreak from jailbreakme. I have tried multiple times with different softwares, and it just dosnt go into dfu. I got an iphone 2 weeks ago and out of curiosity, i tried putting that into dfu mode and it worked. 1st try. i think there is something wrong with my ipod, but everythinh else functions perfectly. i have tried to put it into dfu so many times and ik im doing it rite. is there anyway to jailbreak w.o dfu? why is this even hapening? please help!!!

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and iTunes 10.3.1 64bit. I have an 8gb iPod touch 3rd gen. Whenever I plug in my iPod, iTunes launches and then freezes.
