Does B-Hop's Victory Toss Another Division Into The Trash?

The talent level in all of boxing is declining.The reason Hopkins is able to fight at such a high level is because there aren't many good young fighters that really know how to fight.I give credit to Hopkins for being 46 and doing the things he is able to do,but if he fought in any other era he would not have the same success and would have been retired before he was 40.The reason we see so many guys fighting so late into their careers is because to young talent just isn't there anymore.So many of the young fighters have glaring flaws that a guy like Hopkins can take advantage of.The other problem is a lack of good trainers to help these guys.Nearly all the trainers i listen to between rounds give their fighters no real information about what's going on and what they should be doing or what the other guy is doing.It seems more like a pep talk or they are being to general.You see the difference when Steward or Roach is in someones corner,they are getting a lot of useful instructions.That stuff goes a long way in developing a fighter.I don't see Dawson beating Hopkins either,not if he is going to fight the way he did last night.When Hopkins,Mayweather,Paquiao,Mosley,Marque… and a few others retire,boxing is going to be left with a huge void to fill.
