Ipod Touch (32 GB) won't turn on, charge, or reset.... help plz?

My cousin recently bought a Ipod Touch and after a few days or downloading apps, music, etc, the Ipod just decides to die. At the moment, we tried resetting and restoring but that isn"t helping whatsoever because the Ipod just wont turn on, charge, or anything at all. Its just there being a little piece of crap -.-.... so can anyone help us?
