Ipod wont do anything at all?

my ipod died last night so i plugged it in all night long and when i woke up this morning and it wouldnt do anyhting. i tried restoring it i tried putting it in DFU mode i tried holding both buttons then letting go of power button. i tried plugging it in for 10 min then holding both buttons for 1 min. any suggestions???
